VEGAS!!! Tiger Army, Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender 15, Roy Varga Pinups

I'm so excited, my heart is still racing!  I just got my pre-sale tickets for Tiger Army at The House of Blues in Las Vegas.  I've been waiting a long time to see them, and they just released 3 new tour dates. 



Which is perfect because Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender 15 is happening at the same time.  Duane Eddy is headlining the car show, and playing with them is the surf band The Ventures who went on tour last year and are excellent.  The event takes place on Easter weekend, April 5-8.  If you're thinking about going, get your 4-day pass soon.  Last year they sold out a couple months early.



Who else should be there, but pinup photographer I've been waiting years to shoot with -- Roy Varga!  I booked my time slot already.

Cults

I'm heading to the Cults show, like right now, so I guess it's too late that I'm posting this.  I never remember to blog about what event I'm headed to until after it happens.  I'll work on that.  Well, in case you've never heard of Cults, here's their song You Know What I Mean and if you like them, they'll probably be headed your way sometime soon.

I was searching for yoga music on iTunes tonight and somehow got linked to Rockabye Baby Metallica.  I previewed all the songs, and then noticed there were other albums:  Queen, Rolling Stones, The Cure, Black Sabbath, Pixies, Ramones!  I'm obsessed. 

This is a great baby shower gift idea!

I just love Trent Reznor (from Nine Inch Nails) and Karen O's (from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs) remake of Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song featured in the movie trailer for the upcoming Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.  I can't get it out of my mind.
